Andy is the Head of Corporate HR at Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and has been in post since May 2013. His responsibilities include employee relations, HR policy, Pay and Reward, complex HR casework and large corporate change programmes. Andy introduced the Smarter Working programme into the CPS and is a keen champion of flexible workplaces and agile workforces. Although not quite a millennial Andy welcomes the growth of technology and automation and sees it as a great opportunity to focus on the added value that engaged employees can bring. Andy has spent his career in public services and takes a lot of professional and personal satisfaction in doing his bit for society. He has spent a lot of his career in the Criminal Justice Service working for both CPS and the Metropolitan Police Service, and has also worked in local Authorities where he worked in Social Services and Housing Departments. Andy is a long suffering Queens Park Rangers fan, a passion that has brought him patience, resilience and a positive outlook!
